Yah. Wasn't my favorite pizza--the cheese was a bit "higher quality" than I prefer. I like the kind I buy grated in the store, and I think the best one is Natural Kosher/The Three Farmgirls (which I think are the same company for some reason).

Their cheese is of higher quality, it is made in house. Did you order anything else besides pizza?

That I found out. I said it was "higher quality", and I'm sure it is. I happen to not like homemade mozzarella. Call me a boor, that's what I like.

ETA: we also got fries. They were good.

just went to grill on lee for a Thursday night chulent stop. Everything was excellent!!  definitely will make it there more often.
And at night the roads are empty so it doesn't take too long to get there

Actually was a very good price compared to all the other chulent places I've gone to.
1 lb. chulent $5.99 1 lb. yapchig(which was totally out of this world) $7.99
An oversized piece of overnight kugel 3.25 only thing which was a bit pricey was the kishke which was also amazing @ $1.98 a piece
Anyhow was totally worth it!

Went to the new Prime Burger on J last night.

Had the "Fully Loaded" and i was very disappointed by everything. Burger was below average, staff was not courteous, and it was a total ripoff.

If your charging $17 for a to go burger and fries, it better be damn good. And after charging $12-$13 for that dry burger its another $1.50 for an extra sauce?? That a joke?? Please go away.

I walked into their pizza shop on erev R"H, $14 for a personal pie with no seating space... turned around and went down the block to J2!

+1 although the pizza does happen to be pretty good if its not cold by the time you get home with it

Im not sure if I was there the same time as you but I do recall seeing someone randomly come in and get a cookie..like 12am. Is that the guy? I did not pay for the cookie...had no idea who what when, just remember seeing someone get one take a bite and walk out.

Its insulting to me that a restaurant owner thinks that I'm too stupid and blind and will buy anything with his "Prime" brand name.

Newsflash to him...he won't make it through the year if he keeps this up.

Mind you J2 happens to be pretty good (and Pizza time even better IMO), and they're both a 30/45 second walk away. So I'm not even sure that Avenue J can handle 4 pizza shops (including Bennys) within a 2 minute walk from each other. Time will tell.

Where in Brooklyn for my anniversary tonight?  We likely will share a main, assuming reasonably sized mains.  I'm ok spending 100, but not 150.
