DO?
I can never plan in advance. If I happen to be nearby I might drop in.

it's very good but you can't always gauge food based on DDF obsessions
The attendees at the DO the other day seemed to all think the food was great.

it is great. my point is that sometimes on DDF certain foods and restaurants become obsessions and not everyone forms their own opinions. you have to go in to each place with an open mind.

Izzy's is said to have the best smoked food around (I've heard it from many people). And the pics that they post look amazing. But was advised that it's not a good place to go with my wife if we want a quiet night. More like a place for a few guys looking to fress on a solid of fleish.
I plan on going soon. I'll report back.

Went to the Loft again. Consistently excellent food, ambience, staff.

What did you have this time ?
This time was a sheva brochos. They gave chicken lolly pops to start and small pulled beef on small buns. Soup was vegetable or chicken (I had the chicken which was vegetable with chicken pieces). Then a rib steak, well done and actually juicy and delicious. Came with French fries (fresh). Also had a chicken - dark meat. Dessert was a hot chocolate cake with oozing chocolate and ice cream. Gave rum drinks out as well, delicious. Everyone loved everything. Being on a little diet I had the soup and meat and drink.

I seem to be from the few Odradeks fans here..however I will still share the news.

This past summer Odradeks changed they're entire business model and IMO went completely bust. Before the change, they had several sandwiches that IMO kicked even Zak the Baker out of the water. However they took away all the hot food and focused on being a coffee shop, with a limited to-go sandwich menu.

I used to go several times a week (it was that good), and there was a nice amount of foot traffic. Sadly since the menu change, I would walk by and it always seemed rather empty.

A few days ago I was at the 7-11 next door and stopped in to talk to the owner and voice my sadness. He shared with me that there will be a grand reopening with some new management, and while they will still be focusing on being a coffee shop more than a restaurant, they will be brining back the most popular hot sandwiches that will be made fresh.  :D  :D

Shouldn't but it is a small place so if someone is at your table you could be waiting a little bit.

Tfusion or Loft? Never been to either... Or should I be going somewhere else in the area?

Both very good, but I vote for Loft. (unless you live near one of them)
