Next time you guys visit there, order the deep fried pizza, and let me know if I'm crazy.
Have you tried their regular pizza ?

Yes. I like it. And you?
You can say what you think when you think what you say.

At first I liked it a lot. But lately I wasn't very impressed. Might be because they started reheating instead of having fresh pies ready (or because I tasted bravo's downtown.)

El Gaucho
Closed a couple of weeks ago.

El Gaucho Glatt Closes, Restaurant Sold in Auction El Gaucho Glatt
On January 31st, El Gaucho Glatt, the Argentinian steakhouse in Brooklyn, closed it's doors for good. The restaurant went up for auction just a few days later. The restaurant owner tried his best to keep the place open. The food was consistently good and was a great value for your money. Locals are sad to see the restaurant close. Click here to see the last foodie review at El Gaucho Glatt. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.  Stay tuned to see what happens with that space.

Had it and it was great, but for the rest, at those prices, I'll stick with reserve cut.
I mean, 64 bucks for the 10oz prime ( better known as surprise steak) it was way better in RC ( OK ,so its 65 there), can't even compare.
Oh , and the tacos, why do I always make this mistake..... Similar, but not close to RC.
Ambience is great, but I found that the portions were a bit stingy.

Agreed, I was actually treated there so the bill to me wasn't the issue :) but the portions are stingy, and comparing to RC, you don't need to shlep to the city for this and they do offer valet so it takes paking off your shoulders.. And I think they'll be happy that people are comparing them to RC...

Well, they are charging like RC, but sorry , it doesn't come close.
As for the shlep to the city, I'd rather go to T fusion (W&L, or The Loft), which is better and cheaper.

ribs. ribs. ribs.
when i went we pretty much bought everything on the menu. the ribs were by far the best and after that i would say the baked beans then the brisket. wings were solid but not totally outstanding. but everything was really great. Cant go wrong on anything.
