Get something with "Bacon".
DO NOT be one of those that get a burger there.
Fries are as good as fries can get.
Ahh. I remember those fries with their homemade ketchup was pretty good.

So even on a random Tuesday night, one cannot get a seat at Pardes without a reservation. Wish I knew that before I shlepped there....

Went to Kasai last night.
Had a reservation for 8 @8 and wasn't seated until 8:40.
Crowded and loud.
I thought I had the perfect seat since I found the AC flow but alas the smoke also found that flow and was in my face constantly.
Starters were good. Mains were filling but nothing to write home about at all. They were out of everything I wanted and had I not been there with a group I would have left and gone elsewhere.
I never order steak in a restaurant and this experience further rooted that mentality within.
The starters are made in the kitchen downstairs so its nicer plating while the Hibachi mains are on the griddle fast food style and unceremoniously dumped on your plate. The actual food prep is a fun experience with each chef having their own takes on it - fire juggling, knife tosses, animations...The sake spraying was temporarily out of service due to a customer that complained to the Kashrus agency about it this week.
There was a pineapple chunk garnish on our desert plates which was obviously canned, should not have been.
A wonderful way to eat out and enjoy yourself with family or friends and I would prob do it again but the food value is significantly below the price I paid.

Before or after peak hours you can.

probably the sake spraying. I don't see why it would bother anyone. No one forced you to do it. Some people really have no life and love to ruin things for others.

yes the sake things is what I was referring to.
And agreed. Some people's life pursuit is to ruin others. Not that they never bring up legitimate problems but most of the time I feel like their intent is not lesheim shamayim.

What WOULD be the problem with it?
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

My guess is that the hashgacha excludes the liquor from the hechsher, but they're cooking it on the keilim

I'd assume this happens in 3/4 of kosher restaraunts, but the kitchen is in back.

im pretty sure the hechser company will not allow any alcohol in if its not kosher. That is why different venues have different types of certain alcohol bottles bec some hechshers will allow certain types and some won't. That is in NYC I'm sure in other towns it is different.
