Brooklyn Steak Co.

Apps:
Shredded beef sliders - amazing. I would go back just for this
beef poppers - mediocre. way too dry

Steak:
16oz rib steak was cooked well, could've had a bit more flavor or maybe paired with a wine sauce
Fugettaboudit steak was cooked well, and had decent flavor but not worth the $65 price tag IMO

Sides: fries were better than average, mashed potatoes were way below average

This place is around the corner from my office, would you say it is worth the visit or shlepping my wife in from Queens to go there?

Based on his report, if you like shredded beef sliders for all courses.

I have credit at Izzys from small business saturday 2 years ago. About 90 dollars.

I'm going to go next week.

What are the things that we should get?  Is it worth it to go on a Sunday, or do they not have as much stuff because of shabbos?

by Sunday he should have plenty. The best items in my opinion are the "smoked Dinosaur ribs", the BBQ chicken wings, and many people like the smoked brisket and the chili -- mine were dry, but that may have changed...

once you are in CH, it's worth it to go to Brooklyn Artisan Bakehouse, too. Great chocolate pastries, croissants, and some toast with pesto and melted cheese.
Maybe Bakehouse for Sunday brunch, and do Izzy's for dinner.
