agreed, however it would be helpful if they can do a background check on someone who handles large sharp knives and a busy, crowded Jewish restaurant every day.

And by background check do you mean screen him through hundreds of online comments and just go by the majority? And do we all get to run the background checks on every other employee in kosher restaurants, or just the Musilm ones?

One nut job hands out fliers on Kingston Avenue and the "story" generates more buzz than a whatsapp video of a goy singing a Jewish song.
