Went to MAKI By AKIMORI. Wow. Actually shocked this place hasn't been discussed on the forum here yet...

Terrible experience sounds apt, sorry you had to experience that.

Can't think of a place w/o waiters but Jerusalem steak house (it's not a steakhouse) and Grill Point both have waiters but are excellent and inexpensive IMO.

Maybe like a Retro grill/ Joseph dream Burger type/ Holy Schnitzel but thats not Israeli food if thats what he wanted

I think 4spiceny.com is the only thing around with decent hechsher (OK), and it's meat

relatively new.
also, they seem to now be on Ubereats/DD/GH
(considering it's a bit further from the court)
