Exactly.
And catch a WS game there because that seems to have left NYC for a while as well ;)

Depending on the traffic & parking conditions it might just save you time.
I hate Brooklyn.

KD was the one bright spot about going there.

A bank will probably open up there. Those seem to be doing quite well.

Big words from a fan of a team that hasn't won the WS since 1948 or made an appearance since 97!

My city never had an obnoxious billboard saying the WS should be renamed as it happens here every year anyway...

Although I cant say I know what billboard youre referring to, it could be that Cleveland did at one time want to rename the Series.

The problem is that the last time the Indians won, hieroglyphics were still the norm and those records were all lost when Moses took us out of Egypt.

End of an era: The last KD has closed...  :'(
End of an era, indeed. KD was part of the culture of the NY kosher scene for decades. Be it BP, Flatbush or NYC. Food was predictably good. Their burgers had that taste, either you loved them or it wasn't your style, but they were consistent. As I life-long Brooklyn boy, I cannot begin to describe the horror stories I've had over the years with numerous other fast food joints in BK etc., either understaffed, raw, screwed up order, you name it. I'm sure KD had their issues as well, but somehow they seemed effortless with their operation, you knew what you were getting, and you usually were satisfied with it.

After all, how many restaurants all over the country have copied KD's template as far as service, menu etc. I mean there is only one original SINO steak, and that was at KD.

You will be missed!

Does anyone know of the cheapest place in Brooklyn (Flatbush area or areas around it) to buy pizza pies for a party? We love Amnons but it's way too expensive for pies. And please let me know your opinion as well. If it's $10 a pie but tastes like cardboard, I don't think my children will forgive me  :o

Cheapest place in CH  would be sauce n cheese and they deliver, not sure how far though. They are about 14 a pie and taste pretty good.
