It takes a few days. Right when they are born they don't look like much.
No offense babies, it just take some time.
Not to mention the fact that they grow up eventually and they rarely stay cute:)

I have a friend who just got got home with a baby from the hospital and the mother was telling me that her baby isn't cute at all. She said it will take time. My wife on the other hand spent 150 dollars in the hospital getting professional pictures of our baby.

i told my wife all pregnency no newborns are cute... and low and behold, my son was a mush (not in the girly way but in the literal sense) but he needed a good 3 weeks to crack a smile and thank gd he hasnt stopped since
