Not 100% clear cut. The second source you bring says: "unless you know for sure that the store has a specific policy that permits the practice of buying something even when the buyer’s intention is to return it, it is forbidden to buy an item with the intention of using it a bit and then returning it." which implies that if you know that the store has a policy permitting it, it would not be ossur.

Halacha might look at those very differently.

For example, according to many opinions, copyright is not enforceable according to Halacha, which is why traditionally a Haskama included a Cherem on whoever would reprint withing a fixed time period allowing the original publisher to recoup their investment. Had it been forbidden, no time-limit Cherem would be needed.

I was actually hoping for everyone around here to not be "goires" your pet peeve, and not even give you the satisfaction of having a "me too" or a "+1", but I knew that someone is gonna have to spoil it... so it may as well be me!

Run on sentences that I have no idea what the person is saying in then and dont want to wrap my head around it because its so long so I miss out on what hes saying even if other people figured out what he was saying.

Alol. Same. My friend was having trouble sending voice notes on whatsapp. They were cutting off after 9 or 10 seconds. I told her that if she's recording when the keyboard is showing then it works properly. She wanted to test it and right in front of me sent me a voice note. Had that exact reaction...

I don't get what you're saying. Walmart, Costco and many other store explicitly allow you to buy with the intent to return. Walmart has even taken out ads in the past encouraging this behavior for TVs before the Superbowl. What could possibly be the issur

That discussion is for another time,  but if I need to spell it out for you,  I'm  talking about  buying refundable airline tickets to trigger credits and the like
