Not sure about the ice cream but sure so for fish in some herring containers. Hate those who put 4 pieces and the rest is creamy onions.

There are definitely brands where each size is either a half or full herring.

In IL, the company must put a percentage on any ingredient that is part of the product description. (Caterers seem to be exempt so this would not solve the herring problem.) That was how I found out that Pringles is 28% potatoes. Lechora the cookie dough flavors would say what percentage is in there - the problem is that no one sells it in supermarkets (that I recall), only in ice cream stores - and we never get to see the packaging on those.

I would too, but I prefer to leave it and use another empty cup if possible.

Can't answer for him, but me because I've seen too many people wash their hands from a faucet right into a cup that happens to be underneath. The idea of that water possibly being what someone else used to wash is disgusting to me.
