When someone replaces one light bulb in a fixture (or one fixture in a room) with a different color temperature than the others.

This drives me crazy! People don't even notice it

Or has the wrong color temperature, period. It bothers me on screens, too.

If you are lucky and your computer's screen was reviewed on LaptopMedia dot com, they sell various laptop screen profiles that may fix your problem. (Note that laptops have various screens within the same model, you'll need some kind of hardware reader to check.)

You can fix the result by using Task Manager to restart Windows Explorer.

Oops, no not deliberate. It used to work to hold down shift before using the regular menu or to use the ALT + F4 menu, but it's possible they don't allow that anymore. I personally don't mind updates too much. It's not like the good ol' days when it took forever

Cloning a drive, even on a brand-new computer, now has an extra step: turning off decryption. Depending on how much is on the drive, this could be the difference between completing the operation with a charger or without one.

Windows update has taken away my show-desktop button. Now I will be stuck with Windows+M.

Short list of issues caused by Update in the past:
-nuked my limit of 85% charge on my battery, even though the setting is showing as on
-changed boot options to the other drive (on my Zephyrus, which had two drives but only the Windows partition was mirrored, but an old mirror)
-killed a perfectly good emmc laptop that I had upgraded with an M2 SSD with the double-crime of changing boot back to the emmc, encrypting both it and the M2, then causing the emmc to become corrupted during an attempted W11 upgrade. Somehow disrupts power to the M2 (the drive and its data are fine but the computer itself can't see it).

(Also, I just found out that Ctrl+Esc brings up the Start Menu in case a keyboard doesn't have the winkey.)

I go from 5T to Maspeth sometimes and it was so bad that google had me take the cross island to the LIE instead.
