When someone uses scalding-hot tap water to wash something, and then simply turns off the faucet.

If you mean that literally, that the water is hot enough to cause a scalding injury, then maybe the fault is with the manufacturer or installer who set the thermostat too high.  Often it's left at 140F, while 120 is preferable in most homes.

If you're still there, you could mention that you noticed that the tap water feels hotter than you're used to at home, and ask if they'd ever measured the temperature.  And that you're concerned whether it's safe for the children, since you just read about a kid harmed by hot tap water.

In my house it's set to 112. 120 seems too hot. Of course the temp at the boiler thermostat is not the same as the faucet temp.

In many places I've lived, especially when the kitchen has only one sink, we kept it to 109 or so in case of any milchig/fleushig mixup.Knowing the water is under yad soledes often simplifies things.

When someone opens a large container of yogurt/cottage cheese/cream cheese etc and doesn't take the plastic top off the whole way but leaves it partially on.

There's a reason they have a sign - "Men At Work", otherwise you'd never know.

ATTTENTION cookie and cracker companies.

It is very frustrating when I need to widen my mouth to the max on Shabbos. Why???? If you choose to place words on the cookie/cracker, at least make it bite size!

Still, along with
Frum manufacturers who make candy wrappers that are impossible to open without ripping letters.

Frum companies should keep these things into account

DOB fields that pop out a calendar to choose your DOB on, instead of just letting you enter it manually.

Unless you were born in the last month or two, it takes far more clicks to go back to the year you were born that it would be to just enter the 8 digits of your DOB.

And IMO, the purpose of popping out a calendar when filling out a date is so that you can see what day of the week each date is, both to schedule things, and to remember when a date was. With a DOB, it's not like I'm sitting here filling out a form and being like "I think I was born on a Tuesday sometime in late November, lemme see what the date it was..."
