Then they (the brand/seller) set the MSRP. Could be a mistake, or could be because they don't want other sites to see the lower price (for a variety of reasons).

I assumed as much. That pop-up box is what Amazon wrote, not them. Just in this case, it comes out as baloney.

Logging in and constantly entering OTPs and captchas has become my biggest pet peeve. Make it stop! At this point I’d almost prefer to get hacked. Why is the solution worse than the problem?
