Just to clarify. I was referring to the weekday laining. I don't know if Shabbos has different halachos.

Regarding kids, if they see you learning during layning and come to understand that learning is more important than layning and they also see you doing shnayim mikra Friday night and come to understand that layning/Torah is important to you, i'm sure they'll be okay.

I disagree and there are quite a few member who know who i am and i don't hide it but i still don't publicize it to anonymous people
