The +1 was because that is also a pet peeve of mine! Isn't that what +1 is meant for? I know there has been a recent addition of the like button, but until it makes it to tapatalk, I'm gonna be stuck +1ing if I like a post.

People eating while on the phone. This is a very real 'pet peeve'. Not list of things that annoy me.
It's one thing if I call you and you happen to be mid bite. It's quite another if you're eating lunch and think now is a good time to call Stbaum. I have news for you. I will hang up the phone. I've done it to customers. To my (old) boss, and to one other person I don't want to say. I feel it's the most disgusting thing you can hear over the phone. I literally lose control.
It happened again today during a conference call and my (new) boss was sitting right there and I couldn't hang up. I couldn't say anything. All I could do was take deep breaths and hope nothing important was being said because all I could hear was chewing.

Am I alone here?

Wow. There's a label for everything... To clarify, I don't care about hearing someone eat. It's just over the phone that's disgusting. I also don't care if it's gum chewing... Whatever. It's nasty

Well I didn't want anyone to think I'm mean! Just peeved! And by now no one in my family does it. I'm not horrible when people do it, I just say I have another call or something and I'll call them back. I don't yell or slam the phone down
