What about Shabbos morning before Davening?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

1. Thanks
2. Correct. Although Mechaber says bread is the way to go, he also says in OC 188,8 that one need not repeat bentching if one forgot rizai, so he is obviously choshesh for opinons that bread is not necessary for Seudas shlishis so yesh ahl me lismoch if you are too full to have bread.

3. I often ask myself if Im better off washing at kiddush and when I eat seudah at home it will be third meal

Why do people feel it's mandatory to eat kiddush?
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

Mechaber himself does not reject the other opinion in fact he says by seudas shlishis that "The first approach is the main opinion that one needs bread, unless someone is very full."

According to bhl you shouldn't eat a lot at a kiddush anyhow so you should be hungry for the actual meal.
