That's a different discussion. I am questioning his assumption that a decision was made to keep himself from looking bad.
I question your logic for bringing up a nonissue.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Why do you automatically assume it's because they don't want to look bad? Maybe they don't want to spread panic.
That's a different discussion. I am questioning his assumption that a decision was made to keep himself from looking bad.

It's happened at least 4 times in scenarios that I'm intimately familiar with, and each time panic had nothing to do with it. In fact, there was more panic every time when people found out from other sources, primarily because they found out from other sources.

Huh?
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Is referring to a fence as a gate universal usage of regular english, or is it exclusively sourced at O.T.?

Dunno about O.T., but it's fairly universal (and wrong) in most communities that I know of.

Of all the "regular english" expressions, using "gate" for the English "fence" and "complicating" for "complicated" are the two that DRIVE. ME. NUTS!

And if that is what is meant by "gate" in regular english, what is the regular english word for the English noun "gate"?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Lemon on lox platters.  Seriously, can't caterers leave a few pieces of lox without a lemon slice?
Reminds me of this quote:

"Statistics show that diet coke drinkers don't actually have any more affection for lemon flavor than drinkers of regular coke."

Because masks cause panic.

Does anyone else get annoyed when on tapa you see the beginning words of the first post and they always start with something along the lines of "surprised that there's no thread on ..., Or "sorry if there is a thread on this already..."

It's a good thing I don't own a gun the amount of times I hear complicating instead of complicated. Though not as bad as same like instead of same as.

Bringing guns into this discussion is really complicating things.
