How on earth is anyone supposed to decipher that? I understand basic, big, huge, and super what's with all the other ones 

I think some of those names refer to differing quality / thickness.

Of all the "regular english" expressions, using "gate" for the English "fence" and "complicating" for "complicated" are the two that DRIVE. ME. NUTS!

And if that is what is meant by "gate" in regular english, what is the regular english word for the English noun "gate"?
