"I don't mean to be nosy, but is everything okay?"
I gotta try this on my wife
"Hey, I noticed <>. Is everything ok? If you'd like to speak about it, I'm always available. If you'd rather not, I totally understand. I didn't say anything.""I don't mean to be nosy" is like "No offense, but..."
Okay, let me try this..."Hey Yehuda57, I noticed your posts seem to be lacking substance recently, and your jokes are just not funny, and you seem to be more cranky than usual, and you are really not enjoyable to be around, and your breath smells. Is everything ok? If you'd like to speak about it, I'm always available. If you'd rather not, I totally understand. I didn't say anything."
