Unplug or turn off the printer

Not always will it work that way. When you turn it on, it will resume printing. You'll need to clear queue like etech0 has mentioned.

Schools that give out pushkas and encourage little kids to bang down my door all day soliciting.

I don’t allow my children to engage in this as I find it extremely distasteful. They are extremely upset about it because they want the prizes the school gives out. The prizes are for collecting hundreds of dollars. Seriously, why are 6y/o being encouraged to collect that kind of money?!

Heavy negotiations are underway. Told them I’ll speak to their Rebbeim and find out what prizes are being given out and I’ll buy it for them. They feel left out of the door to door knocking though, it’s like a sport of sorts to the kids.

When someone uses scalding-hot tap water to wash something, and then simply turns off the faucet.

Then you come along a minute later and turn on the cold water to wash your hands, and boom, you get the leftover boiling hot water that was in the faucet. The guy before would've never run that water on his hands, but now it's running on yours, pretty much burning you.

So if you're reading this...

TURN THE TAP TO COLD FOR A COUPLE SECONDS WHEN YOU FINISH USING SUPER HOT WATER.

I know a place where they have sign saying something like this:

Ve'Havta L'Rayacha Kmocha

Please run the cold water for a few seconds after running the hot water.

As well, use caution when turning on the sink.
