Did you drive one of those cars from the 14th century ?
I drove on a pre-embargo Buick, the owner kept it in great condition, looked like it had just been bought, but from the 60's.

I have nice pics but they're all physical, went before the digital era.
Would have to dig them up and scan them or snap pics of them.
If there's a real demand I might do it.

Would like to see them, if it's not too much trouble.

OK, will try to dig them out sometime soon IYH, have to go through some 100 pic envelopes and than do the scanning.

Actually, I'm dreading scanning them, too long..
Anyone have any suggestions to do this on mobile?
Example: The ideal way to do this would be to take a pic of them from my cell and share it. Something as easy as sharing on whatsapp where I can share in bulk, but even one by one (for the ones that need captions) will be faster than scanning, saving, attaching.

Nice thanks. Do most people have normal cards there and this is attraction or is this the norm?

Many people can't afford a car, or can't afford to run it. Most of them are owned by people who got them from parents or bought them for thousands of dollars, and use them as taxis. But they are quite common, so I am sure many of them aren't taxis. The govt has laws to not allow them sold off the island, so they clearly know what they have, but its pretty normal as you can see from the abundance of pictures of them LOL

I've read that due to the embargo they haven't been able to get new cars or car parts.

I've read that due to the embargo they haven't been able to get new cars or car parts.

To some extent that's probably true. Although they do have many many russian cars, especially from the 80s. And I think they had some new buses from China or something.

The embargo mainly has an effect on what they can get from the US, so parts, if they are around in the US would be hard to get. The AC in the hall we rented was broken, waiting on a piece from the US, they expected to wait at least another few months till it would be fixed...

You can take pics of them with your phone then multi select the photos and upload them to imageshack (Android app) all at once.

Weird, when searching for imageshack I get all different results for similar apps (image related) but no Imageshack.
Upon clicking on your link I get "item not found" and a retry button..

Looks like my phone might have an aversion to that app LOL.
