Europe vaction from TLV
« on: September 30, 2013, 07:58:00 PM »
Any advice on where is a close place to go for a week to do a little vacationing in November preferably not more than 3-5 hours away from tlv. I would rather a warmer climate too if that exists and that point of the year. Also, what is the best airlines with award availability from tlv to vacation destination?

Nice - there's a direct flight with Air France. Weather should be a bit warmer.

You can fly to Madrid using BA or IB (transferred from BA) miles.
25k RT + some taxes, which is a pretty good deal compared to revenue rates. Just gotta be flexible with the date.

Flyingblue would be the least costly. Check it out. TLV is considered in the Europe zone.

For certain destination, BA may be cheaper. And their miles are 'worth' less.

Decent, but since FB is worth around 1.3-1.4, it's like paying $450.
EasyJet has for around 175 outbound, and 75 return, but they only fly Tuesday and Saturday.

For a 2 or 3 or flight I would probably hold my pride (and breath) and check Skyscanner.net

What is there to do there? When I checked into it, it seemed dull w/o even nice scenery.

But I think you can fly Cyprus Air for 10k Virgin Atlantic + fees. Unsure it that's RT or OW.
