to sell or transfer ultimate Rewards
« on: September 29, 2013, 11:32:41 PM »
My chase ink bold was hacked and instead of them giving me a new card I want to do a 3bm  and open a new ink plus and ink bold.
I am going to lose 130.000 UR unless I transfer them to my continental account.
I am a huge ddfer and took my family of 10 to europe this summer all by opening chase cards and traveling on United with $2.5 taxes and fees!!  THANKS DAN!!
Right now I don't see us traveling till next summer, should I sell the miles or keep adding up to my united account.
can anybody advice?

I have no idea what you are talking about bec I can't make sense of your story,  but what does chase issuing you a new card number have anything to do with a 3bm??
How does one affect the other?

I've got a headache reading this post, and it's still early in the morning.

Sorry for the headache
Too many cards open
Won't get approved for another ink unless I close a few or transfer credit line
Question is should I just keep transferring ur to united even if no travel plans in the near future?

I'd transfer them to UA but that's me. Even when I don't have any plans for future travel I always end up using them.

You found 10 reward seats on one flight?  Or you sold your points and bought tickets?

Last Jan I found 6 seats on Air Berlin using BA (avios) going to Israel and 6 home on united for a trip in Aug.  In both cases it looked like there were still award tickets after I got mine.

Thanks for the info.  I was interested in a trip this summer.  I would need between 8-10.  Although I had not started looking yet, I was discouraged because someone had told me here that finding that many award tickets was unlikely.
