If you can pull it off it's great. I guess it would be more ideal via US.

Of course if you can pay 90k instead of 120k it would be better then great.

How is ANA with open Jew? Are they as good as UA for example?
Airlines sending me "We're in this together" emails.

Bruh, where were you when my suitcase weighed it 51.50 pounds?

There's a bunch of differences.

SQ allows OW and not ANA.

ANA is cheaper if booking round trip.

ANA you can book online and not SQ.

Amex usually transfers over night to SQ and could take a couple days to ANA.

Just to name a few.....
If UA or US has availability...

Thanks for the clarification.

While we could all agree that ANA is not ideal for last minute booking because of the time it takes to transfer from AMEX,

Besides Amex transfer, ANA has to be booked at least 4 days in advance, and any changes to existing reservations can only be made to flights which are 4 days out.

Is it possible that when I check in UA I see a RT flight YUL-ZRH-TLV for 120k + 157.00, and when I check on ANA 85k + 1132.00??
Does ANA charge yq even when ua doesn't??

Is there a way to check availability on ANA without having any miles? I made an account and it wont let me check, "Because I don't have any miles"

United.com is showing saver availability however ANA does not show it as available on their website or via the phone. Is there anything I can tell the rep to make it available or direct him to the right place? Thanks

I'm helping a polish friend of mine who wants to visit his mother and go to israel with her.

When I look on united
NYC-WAW-TLV-NYC

some of the legs, NYC-WAW are with a layover. is that going to affect the ANA Booking"?

United doesn't show LOT polish availability. So you might want to first check ANA and call up UA with flight numbers to book.

I found a flight on ANA -- JFK-WAR and there is a Business seat available, but when I gave the flight number to a United rep, they said only economy awards are available.
Any idea?

You probably meant you found a LO flight on ANA.com, JFK-WAW.

Would HUCA UA.

Yes I meant that. Either way I didn't find a connecting WAR-TLV and UA found me a different routing, so all good.

 Hi,
Can someone who has ANA miles in their account please do a fellow DDF'er a favor & please check how much the tax & fuel surcharges would be for such a ticket:
6/10 EWR-LHR UA800, returning 6/19 LHR-EWR UA943
Thanks & regards,
Chapshnell

Don't have miles in my account. IIRC it would be about the same as UA, maybe a couple of $ more.
