Yes
So what's there to talk about. $11 for unlimited talk/text on the Sprint network is great. Why all the skepticism?
supposedly special firmware to route voice calls over 3G/4G...
Does that affect me (the consumer)?
If you have wifi or are in a good wimax area it should not be a problem
I don't get it.No WiFi, no service?
no that's not how it works. Basically they want you to be using wifi or 4G service to route the phone calls. If you don't have that service then they will route to call to the regular sprint towers. But sometimes your calls will go through with data and if you are on slow 3g the call may not be clear.
If I never or rarely have WiFi, will they cancel my service?
dunno
Otherwise who cares if its on 3g/4g etc, just don't use Wifi when you want to call.
CMIIW, I believe the key difference between this and say, Republic is that even when they route you over sprint, it still goes over DATA. So it's 100% VoIP, wifi or not.
$2.50 a month for voicemail. Additional 500mb of data free if you sign up "today".
visual voicemail not regular...most charge for that.
That's with the $11 plan. With the "free" plan it wants to charge $2.50.
I did the free plan at checkout they added $2.50 for visual mail (not voice mail) and I unchecked the option and it came out completely free
I'll check again...
