They tried renewing my subscription at about $350/yr from about $175/yr.  I got them down to $225 or so.  Any way to get it lower?  I can't do the intro offers because I have subscribed for two years.

correct definitely dont pay! they usually come within a month or 2. If you need it right away just use miles or buy a subscription on ebay

just ends but create for your wife, kids, etc and just suspend the subscription till you need it

if you are a student you can get it for 100 and it includes the online version as well. (I get 2 though, and dont have time to read it, if you want to come and pick up a copy, you are welcome to! )
