  • Red Hills desert Garden 375 E. Red Hills Parkway, St. George, UT 84770  Small & Free. Nice stop to see various desert plants for 20-60 minutes
  • Fiesta Fun Center (Bowling, Lazer Tag, Batting Cages, Go Karts, Arcades, bumper boats). Mostly indoors.

In general alltrails.com is a good resource to find hiking trails that meet your interest (you can filter by length, difficulty, popularity, and review pictures and comments).

Zion National Park
--Fantastic hiking and waterfalls among magnificent red rocks scenery. Temperatures are usually substantially cooler than surrounding cities.
--Unique and popular trails include Angels landing (Hard), The Narrows (hike up a shallow creek in a narrow canyon, be aware of flashflood risks at certain times of year, or following rain), Canyon overlook trail (right after the tunnel along the right artery) among many others stunning hikes.
--There is also stunningly beautiful scenic drives both along the main road (only via shuttle in the summer) and the right artery (via your own vehicle), and there are also bike and e-bike rentals in Springdale UT (near the main entrance to the park).
--There are trails that are only accessible via other entrances (Kolob)
--The average visitor will likely get most of the beauty of the park in 1-2 days
--PDF map of Zion National Park is at https://www.nps.gov/zion/planyourvisit/upload/ZionUnigrid.pdf

Bryce National Park
--Bryce is a relatively small national park, but a geological wonder, with uniquely colored rocks and hoo-doos (stone pillars formed by repeated freezing/melting).
--The visitor center has a 25 minute video playing every 30 minutes for some background on the uniqueness of the park.
--There are a variety of stunning scenic viewpoints right off the main road (you can take a shuttle or your car), that give you a lay of the land and provide stunning photography opportunities.
--There are a variety of trails along the rim, and many hikes that descend into the basin where you can see the unique structures up close.
--The beauty of the park shines even more around sunrise/sunset.
--Bryce is also a "dark sky park" (particularly good place to view stars on a clear night).
--The average visitor will likely get most of the beauty of the park in 1 day
--PDF map of Bryce National Park is at https://www.nps.gov/brca/planyourvisit/upload/Newspaper-for-Web.jpg

The North Rim, which is closer to you, will be closed while you're there. The South Rim is close to 5 hours away.  Check the weather before you go.  Average snowfall for the South Rim for April is close to 30 inches.
wow! Thanks!

Any reviews of ligai si Anii vs antelope canyon? Im worried to just show up with so many people and not have a reservation but once going all the way would love to do it right! They have good reviews online but I feel like the people who did it all did because lower Antelope was fully booked…

Pretty bad misread of the weather graph, my apologies.  I automatically looked to the closer side (left), but precip inches were actually on the right.  I believe it is about 2 inches average for April.  @rots5

I'm planing a trip for early June about a week I'm going to put a rough iternirary,
We have been to most of the places some even multiple,
We are early wakers and will be up pre sunrise active till sunset with early nights.
We are ok with long drives (especially scenic drives)
We are 2 adults on a budget, mostly want to do 1 hike 2 to 3 hours a day, nothing that cost over $70 pp for activities.

Shabos: Phonix,       Sunday: Lake powel sunset at horshoe bend.

Mon   grand canyon north rim for sunrise and scenic drive (have only been to south rim) any thing in that area that I shouldn't miss?

Hoping to arrive early afternoon to zion and hike part of narrows, if there's time before dark maybe sand hollow or quail creek for BBQ. Sleeping in hurricane UT.

Tues early start arrive by bryce by 7 am & leave 12pm from there we are driving to Jackson wy for remainder of trip.

A few questions,
Would it be smarter to go to bryce right after grand canyon and go to zion narrows 1st shuttle in morning (for crowds & heat) instead of going tues bryce then drive bryc-jackson wy?

Also I have been to all np in utah besides capital reef should I try to go to cap reef after bryce (depending on. What day I do what) or even cut out bryce and cap reef instead?
We have been to bryce in past and really like it so unless cap reef is a must we won't go to bryce or try to fit it in?

I've never heard of any minyanim being arranged in Hurricane. There definitely are groups of bochurim doing road trips all over Utah but most of them will end up gathering around Chabad in St. George or others for Shabbos. There is a travel camp called Braisa that will be there in August. Perhaps you can contact them to see where they'll be that Shabbos?
