I heard last week that the deal fell through and they gave up and arent opening in Cedarhurst

i still have never found out the legitimacy of the hechsher at bagel boss. im not saying that its not kosher, but i have never heard of a frum person eating there. could be bec to the location though

Nobody goes to the one in Woodmere because there are are better options nearby but go to the one in Garden City or Murray Hill. Lots of Frum people eating there

don't know the exact issue, but I know for sure there is a reason most "frum" (very relative word) people would not eat there, you will see the more modern orthodox crowd there though-iirc it may be open on shabbos, either partially or fully owned by a goy making the hechsher it has possible, but the vaad would not approve....again I'm not sure but something like this
