i think redfern housing is a lot worse-but I hear you. There is a relatively nice park on that street so that’s a plus for the yeshiva which has no grounds at all now.
I'm pretty sure all most of the public housing back there has been bought out by a frum person. Inwood is one of the fastest growing neighborhoods around here now. And it's still relatively affordable. It's going to eventually fill on from across Burnside/Sheridan till Far Rockaway. It's already being bought out by frum, even pretty close to those projects.
The ne restaurant is also not too far from Inwood, Cedarhurst, and North Lawrence. They just have to advertise so people know they are there.
