He doesnt do a great job advertising himself. many people in my shul have used him.

Word on the street is that there are major rebates available for a new split ac unit bringing the cost down considerably. Anyone know if that is also applicable in Nassau county or it's just nyc?

Also, anyone have an installer they recommend?

@Mootkim i called yuriy and he said I could go to his apt to measure. How can I ask he come to my house? It would be helpful being as I work from home and he could come during working hrs

I would just ask him. That had been the standard with him when I last used him before yom tov.

I am moving out of my house in the 5 Towns to New Jersey and I just lost my mover due to some closing dates getting switched around.

The best in the business. Used them a few times as did many of my friends. Not a single complaint.

Just curious, anybody know what's going on in town with our kosher supermarkets?

Seasons switched their meat department to something called Prime by Ari's and it looks like Meat Maven (owned by the Rubashkin family) moved over to Frankels.

Anybody know why this happened? Is Seasons under new ownership (again)?

No, seasons simply switched from overseas meats to american (which is better acc to some) so now they offer "better meats"
still under the same owner as of last night

way up. meat looks very nice (all US meat) but now basic costs just continue to rise for those who dont need the best (esp sous vide people who can do magic with a $7.99 imported french/brick roast). french roast is now $19.99...

Beautifully cleaned hanger steak, but $34 a pound is more than the $22 I would pay pre cleaning (removing sinew in between etc)

Yup they wanted to have the best in the area!
they are now the prime (price)

There's gotta be more to the story.

Seasons Meat Maven moved to Frankels. Why would they switch? They already had cheap meat at cheap prices.

And why does Seasons think out pricing the market will care customers, especially now when all food is going up anyway.

There has to be more to the story.

...yea, don't think they are making THAT move. why would they want to be the first store to come out and make the switch which as it is the community is having difficulty adjusting (or not adjusting) to

My source is pretty accurate and i just think they are going for a "better" meat dept. seasons is the only progressive store in the are that tries to change things in the store that they feel can be preforming better and add something to the community.
