I agree. I HATE when I see cars drive by school buses that are stopped and picking up/discharging kids.
That said, there needs to be a better system. An idea may be to have a few second 'grace period' so those that are parallel and can't see, don't get ticketed. This could be similar to why there are yellow flashing lights first and only then do they turn flashing red. Similarly, traffic lights turn yellow and then red.

Like I told my wife, the only way to fight it is by going to court. I'm not a gevir in any sense of the word but it's not worth my time (an money, as at a minimum I will have to take off from work.). We just paid it and moved on. And daven that the class action suit is successful.
Truth is, I should speak to a few local politicians about it. I'll work on it from that angle.

Just an fyi, this guy price gauges before pesach. personally that's a non starter for me, I would never use them. There is a car wash on corner of Rockaway and Sunrise Highway, that does shampoo as well.

Yes, the last store. It used to be some furniture store but has been empty for a number of years (possibly since Sandy. I remember it got badly flooded then.)

You don't want to do it yourself? I just did it last night. All you need is a cheap plastic tool from Lowe's (probably no more than a few dollars) and possibly a flathead screwdriver. Open the drain (if necessary), stick the long spiky tool down, turn a few times, and pull up a huge hair ball. Clean and repeat 2 more times.
A lot cheaper (and quicker) than calling and paying someone

i tried that once and it broke off.
The plumber said you're actually supposed to go through the overflow drain. it's more of a direct line
