Walked in there yesterday during lunch time but they had no lunch specials (makes sense > Sunday) and didnt feel it was worth the price for a lunch. Maybe for dinner. Hapina only worth it on Thursday night IMO

I just saw that IHG hotel rewards gave me points for using my visa cc at woodmere lanes. Apparently backstage (the bar there) is part of the dining club and I must have used a cc I once set up for the dining club to pay for bowling. Good to know for those that have IHG points

eh, I dont like their food so paying for all you can eat of food that isnt good doesnt seem wirth it.

No good close Schwarma place around. The one thing I do miss about the heights. Well - Ill see how Ahuvas is. The new place next to Pizzale most havent raved about.

I'm also having difficulty finding out if the hechsher is reliable. All my standard kashrus sources don't have information on the rav hamachshir - Rabbi Wakslak http://www.longbeachhotelny.com/surfroom/menus/kosher.pdf

I would eat there.

Rabbi Chaim Wakslak is the Rav of YI of Long Beach. His daughter was the one married to Rechnitz who died last year.

Bistro just raised their prices! Don't know specifics. Basically, I ordered to take out and everything was more expensive (asian salad was $18 instead of $12, steak sandwich was $15 instead of $12, burger was $16 instead of $12. I called to find out about that and they said all prices, in store and takeout, went up about a week ago.

Is it worthwhile to go out to Brasserie Halevi over going to the city for that price range? I hear it is ok (haven't heard anything amazing about it) but for that price I expect more then OK.

Anything specific to brag about over there? Havent been there either. Hear they don't have a bar to wait at (not great) and that appetizers are OK. Don't know much more.

Only been there once. We had a nice time. Food was good. Don't remember what I ordered. They did give dessert on the house for a birthday.
