i heard that Pomegranate wanted to buy Keyfood and open so GG bougt it to limit the competition and now Pomegranate wants to buy Brachs which i think would be horrible as then there would be no affordable place to shop anymore

interesting. does anyone remember glatt kosher kingdom? they lasted about a week

I remember it. I was open for such a short time, I never had a chance to go.

yeah, i thought it was a pretty bad store. I remember the aisles being very small.

It wasn't just the small aisles. They store was in constant disarray. Boxes all over the place, out of stock on basic staples...

The aisles were extremely small, narrower than seasons. You could not fit two people passed each other in an aisle.

The 2015 Long Island Kosher BBQ Championship has been postponed and will not take place this year. The committee will take this extra time to re-brand the event and ensure the event continues to deliver on its founding goals of providing a great experience for our guests, spirited competition for our teams, and most importantly, our ability to make an impact on hunger relief on Long Island on behalf of our charity partners.

Just heard tonight that Brach's is in fact selling to Pomegranate. Anyone know if this is true?
