That's the difference between you and I. For you this is comedy. For me it's about Fear of God. One bug is five lavim. Five sets of malkus. A serving of salad can have multiple insects. It is metamtem es halev and prevents someone from understanding his learning. I didn't just hit the keyboard. I did extensive research. It's not a joke.
No, for me, YOU'RE the comedy. You were telling me not to push my rov's views on other people other people (hence the bold).
What I find funny is that
1) you're the one pushing views on people here. I don't think anybody else here said that if u don't follow a list, u'll be going to gehenom. Only you.
2) I don't believe I ever said my rov's views. Just that I have a right to follow my own rov. As a matter of fact,  he has told me not to eat certain foods from certain places and not to eat  in at certain restaraunts, only takeout. But this is the first  time I'm sharing this.
3)if you feel people should not follow their own rov (which IS my opinion and I have said that on this chat), come out and say so.
This is a complete waste of time. GN

So has anyone who actually holds by the vaad tried out Courtside bar and grill? I'm planning a friends goodbye party and wondering if its a decent chill/food.

Decent chill. Lots of TVs. Foods okay. Menu should offer more IMO. Manager told me that they opened before they were ready but they're getting there.

Doghouse Teaneck is better. This place tries to be a little more upscale but that's not what a sports bar/restaurant should be IMO.

Maybe I'll wait to check it out till September/October when sports gets more interesting. I feel like there is a huge difference if you go when there is a boring baseball game on as opposed to a a football sunday. First impressions can last for a while.

It sounds like the place has potential but still working stuff out. They better be ready for football season.

Useful is a relative term. For some people it is knowing their food is kosher. For  others its the TV's in a sports bar. So sad.

I think they are both useful. I think his point is that the same points were being repeated and argued several times. People got it and understand the different sides.

I never revealed what I hold or how frum I am. You either did not read the posts, or did not understand. I was just making a point and wishing for at least Kehila Kashrus standards locally. Not for me, but for everyone else who deserves it.

Do I eat from that standard? Do I eat from everything on "the list"? Or do I only eat from B'datz Eidah Chareidis/ Volover sandard? That is something I did not discuss. That is nobody's business. I just feel bad for our community. We deserve better, and it can be done if there would be awareness and demand.
