Can anyone advise me.
How can I save the high Fuel charges when Traveling with AAdvantage points to London
 

I have about 100,000 points on my American AAdvantage account
I would like to book a award seat in business and avoid the high fuel charges ??

AA doesn't charge fuel surcharges to London on its own metal. The taxes are high any way you slice it.

Try flying into London,  but out of another European city.

Or,  go USA-XXX-LHR and vice versa.

It's actually the opposite, those high taxes are only added when "departing" from London.

It's actually the opposite, those high taxes are only added when "departing" from London.
And only if you were there more than 24 hours and only if you are flying long-haul from LHR.
