Just slice up the esrog, put it in the vodka and let it sit for 1-2 weeks.

My bro did this years ago, was a more complicated process as follows.

He used a huge mason jar, filled approx 20-30% with sugar, put the esrog in, filled to the top with Vodka (ideally there shouldn't be any air in there, overflow if necessary). He did this right after sukkos and purim time it was ready.

All the sugar dissolved and it was delicious.

Kind of a reverse flavor infuser.

Take a watermelon and cut a small hole the size of a bottle on top. Flip a bottle of vodka into the hole and let it seep into the watermelon. Once the bottle drains, you can cut up and serve.

For added effect, don't tell anyone... >:D

Would watering a tree with vodka work?

Something tells me they will taste (and probably even smell) it.

Not if the watermelon is cold enough.

Too cold and the watermelon would freeze and wouldn't absorb the vodka.

On a similar note. In Israel my friends and I attempted to mix Orangina with vodka and then freeze it. What came out was pieces of frozen pulp with vodka. Very bad.

THIS is what I was looking for. I put in 5 etrog shavings into a container with 750ml of vodka. I'm going to add another 750ml because its alot of etrog for the amount of vodka but the sugar part is key. I heard to use sugar water though.
