when i try to search for j availability on elal, i get an error. anybody have any idea why? (searching with galileo)

[Galileo: ETR] Method is temporarily unavailable. In the meantime, please use the [Sabre: FS] / [Sabre: GTC] Methods to ensure uninterrupted access.

Yes. Often, CX will have seats (usually 1) available just for Asia Miles redemptions. However, if it shows up on the OneWorld availability (or BA..com) it is available for AA and BA bookings as well.

Additionally, the CX tool on KVS has been very jittery lately. Try and download the latest version and maybe it will work better.

CX is a special case and you need to use the following matrix:

If [Awards/OneWorld] shows (+) & [Awards/CX] shows (+), then the seats are most certainly available -- keep calling back until you get a good agent.
If [Awards/OneWorld] shows (-) & [Awards/CX] shows (-) or (@), then the seats are not available -- virtually no point in calling.
If [Awards/OneWorld] shows (-) & [Awards/CX] shows (+), then the seats are probably available to CX's own FFP members only -- call a few times to verify availability.
If [Awards/OneWorld] shows (+) & [Awards/CX] shows (-) or (@), then the seats are probably not available -- call a few times to verify availability.

OW/QF search showed a number of LHR-BRU, but did not list their earliest flight.

When speaking to AA, they did have it available...

earliest flights have issues showing up on kvs. i had the same problem looking for a early usair flight once.

It's an issue with the QF engine for flights departing earlier than 07:00 (am).

However, a work-around will be implemented in the next KVS Tool update, so that all early morning flights will be shown:

On matrix.itasoftware, enter after airport code :: / f bc=X.
X being the bucket.
