Does it makes sense that I'm getting 4g in Israel.

If it helps, I have a BlackBerry Q10 and I have t-mobile in the US.
How do you know you get 4G?

IINM, there is no 4G in Israel.

You beat me. :)
People think think that because it says on the screen 4G, they are getting 4G. You get 2G, period.

Correct it's says 4G.

It's very possible that it's only 2G, but extremely fast

Just went into Tmobile and they told me the $50/mo only covers 1GB of data, not unlimited. Is that DROPR? Even in the freaking store they don't know what they're talking about?

Oh...
I've always had Sprint unlimited, so I have no concept of GBs. Do you know what the average person uses? Emails on push, check FB a couple times a day, browser a couple of times a day, and using GPS for lets say 10 hours a week.
Would 1 GB be enough?

AFAIK all T-Mobile plans are unlimited. Its the speed that is limited.
But it doesn't make a difference out of the country; it's unlimited 2G.

So that's what I thought and I asked the rep if 1GB is just for 4G bc I read online that 2G is unlimited and they said no...

Any help here?
I got my Sprint iPhone unlocked and got the Tmobile sim and put it in, but it says 'sim not valid' and I can't even access the homescreen, just this error message. Tmobile reps don't understand what's wrong. 3 Sprint reps said 3 different things: 1) No idea what's wrong. 2) Tmobile sim and really any domestic carrier's sim will NEVER work in a Sprint phone; my unlocking was for int'l use which means only for local int'l companies' sims 3) It won't work in US, but once I go abroad, it'll start working.

Any tips? I'm kinda scared to just go abroad and *hope* it works.

Imo I don't think it will work abroad with a usa tmobile sim. Sprint phones are programmed to allow an intl sim but block usa ones.

Thinking of renting a Tmobile phone for the 2 months that I need their service.
