WIFI is disabled when tethering so you definitely wont be able to use it at the same time

So any other way to avoid the .20 Per min fee when there's no WiFi avail?

Right, my tethering is on but for my friend it'll just be a source of WiFi. So technically, I of course will have my WiFi disabled while tethering but woukdnt my friend connect to my data using WiFi on her phone?

Thanks so much! What type of tmobile plan did you have at the time? Suppose I buy an unlocked tmobile phone,, will the SIM work for me both in the US and Europe?

I have a regular post paid plan
Just make sure your plan includes free international data

What the diff between post paid and prepaid? Are both out of contract?

Yes but prepaid does not require a credit check and also does not include international roaming

Oh, so now I have to rethink if it's worth it to have my credit pulled so I can use their plan outside of us for 2 weeks, not so sure it's worth a credit pull... I understand the post paid ones do require?

You can add and remove lines whenever you want
The post paid plan is 1 for $50 second line for $30 and $10 for each additional line

Tmobile is coming out w/ a new plan tomorrow. 4 lines for $120 w/o taxes. Each line gets 10 gb of data!

Hmmm... currently have 5 lines unlimited *everything* for $220 or $44 per line.

I wonder if I should contemplate switching to this new plan, where I would have a 10gb LTE cap, but could get five lines for $140, or $28 per line, a savings of $80 per month.

I'd guess most of my plans' members use less than 10gb...

You can probably add unlimited just on your line for $20-30 more.

Also make sure to get your upgrade before you are switch as T-mobile would pay the ETF anyway.
