« on: August 13, 2010, 12:09:43 AM »
Does anyone know of a free program that will let me copy music off of an ipod and put it in my itunes library? Someone told me to get idump but I can't seem to find a free one. Thanks

I'm not sure what's out there nowadays, but the last time I owned an ipod (a couple of years back) there was a program called anapod. I'm not sure if it's still available or it's obsolete, but give it a try...

SharePod or EphPod

You might need to install iTunes for the drivers.

you dont need any program. you just have to plug it in and enable it to allow access to the hard drive

I'm quite sure you need a program if you want to have file names that indicate what each song is, otherwise you get a bunch of randomly named audio files.
