Mint.com
Mint.com is a free web-based personal financial management service for the US and Canada

Description
Mint's primary service allows users to track bank, credit card, investment, and loan transactions and balances through a single user interface as well as make budgets and goals. In 2009, it was acquired by Intuit

price
Free

Security
Mint asks users to provide both the user names and the passwords to their bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts, which then Mint stores in their databases in a decryptable format. This has raised concerns that if the Mint databases are ever hacked, both user names and passwords would become available to rogue 3rd parties. Some banks support a separate "access code" for read-only access to financial information, which reduces the risk to some degree

I saw mentioned here and in other threads that mint.com is secure because it's 'read only'

it is simply not true;

to clarify:
Mint needs to access your financial accounts read-only since they don't do any transactions.
the user-name and password you provide is decrypt-able since they have to login.
if any hacker hacks their database and gets your user-name and password they can make any transaction they want.
unless
you provide Mint.com with a read only access token.

Note
the accounts don't have to be from 1 person or the same SSN.
if you have one account displayed in multiple accounts you can hide them in settings (Top left accounts)
you can set what category it should be marked in the future by selecting category > expand "Edit detials" > check "Rules"

Mint-Bills
In May 2014, purchased Check

Description
Get alerts when bills are due and easily make payments online.

Anyone here use it? I wonder if its safe to provide all your bank accts,  CC accts etc.

Also it seems it logs in to your accounts everytime you log on.

Its supposed to be safe. Even with login its a read-only login.

I've been using it for many years (since it started ) and I love it! For me the beat part is that my bank makes me crazy when I log in from other computers but mint doesn't have that problem so I log into mint from anywhere

I peronally wasn't crazy about it when I used it
It didn't properly sync with some of my accounts and didn't update account balances properly... Granted this was about a year ago and things probably improved
I'm using check.me now and so far it's good except it doesn't sync with citi cards for some odd reason

I've been using it for a while and it's been great. I used it to make budget estimates when I was getting ready to start house-hunting because it compiled and categorized all my transactions from all my (quite numerous) accounts.

It works great but all the AP BB spend transactions make it unreliable for budget purposes.

I'm assuming AP is Amazon Payments, not sure what BB is. Either way, those type of transactions should utlimately have an offsetting transaction. If they're labeled properly you should have no problem budgeting around it.

BB is Bluebird.
I've been using Mint for a while. I primarily use Quicken, but sometimes it won't post charges for several days, and then Mint gives me a better picture. Also, the mobile app is pretty good.

BB is supported - I've got both my & DH's accounts set up in mint, and am able to see all transactions from each account (and assign categories, etc.).

I've been using mint for years - it's the only way I know what I spend where; Highly recommended! There are only a couple of my accounts that don't synch up, and I don't use those accounts often, anyways (retail cards are most susceptible, IME).

Yesterday I received the LAN card with a 17K CL, and also received a letter with the CC card agreement, but not the card itself.

If you got the agreement I'd guess your card is processing and is on its way. Could be a delay with them waiting for CC to assign your CC number.
