Looking for JFK car rental in April

Getting LAN tickets to come back to the states for Pesach, and want to rent a car to get from JFK to Baltimore, pick up the evening of April 7th, return the afternoon of April 21st, as cheap as possible.

I've tried some different coupon codes, etc... and gotten it down to around $500, but that's it.

Any suggestions on getting it lower?  I don't care what company or what car.  Just needs to be cheap.

i usually go to hotwire see what theyre charging to get an idea what to bid on priceline, and bid a few dollars cheaper per day

Try carrentalsavers.com I have consistently found they get the best rates. You give them your info - where/when you want it - and they email you a reservation, which you can cancel if you don't like. And you don't have to give cc info either.

It's 9-10 months away.... best deals would come much closer to rental timee..
