my TYP balance is negative as is my account balance ( I cancelled a booking after covering it with TYP).

Have an annual fee coming up and I never use the card but I have 80000 points on it so I don’t really wanna downgrade.  How is citi with retention offers?

Would like to downgrade my Premier card to the Rewards+ card. If I then transfer all my thank you points to that card and then redeem all my points for cash back will I get the 10% bonus, or is it only for new purchases made with that card?

You should be eligible for the 10%

I have two TYP accounts, one for a Premier card and one for a Rewards+ card.  I was thinking to combine the accounts as I understand there are benefits to doing so but when I went to do it this message came up;

 "When you combine your ThankYou accounts, most redemption options available to each individual account will be available with the combined account. However, in some situations, you may lose access to certain redemption options if you combine ThankYou accounts."

Anyone have an idea what the 'certain redemption options' are that you may lose? TIA

I tried calling CS but the rep had no clue and didn't understand my English very well so I gave up on that.

This is a very old blog post from FM but it may still contain some useful info (ymmv): https://frequentmiler.com/should-you-combine-thankyou-accounts/
