Why do CC companies ask in the application how much of your income is taxable?
my guess in case of a FR down the road, you won't be able to tell them yeah I make a ton of money but it's not taxable so it's not on my tax return

When applying for Amex and before they pull you credit card you get a message " Based on your information... you may not be eligible etc..". What does that mean, does that mean you wont get approved and it not worth it to apply, are they trying to discourage you?

Seems like Chase doesn't ask for a social when adding additional user. Will it impact the additional user's credit score by adding him with Chase?
I try to sound as intelligent as possible.

Just got a new Ink with only $7.5k CL. I have enough spend to hit the $7.5k signup bonus spend now, but that'll bring me to 100% utilization on the first statement. Does that matter, or is it fine as it's a business card?

Even if it doesn't affect my credit score, is that a red flag from Chase's perspective?

Yes. Amex has some rules, as well as others, haven’t been in the game for a while but there’s a few threads discussing these….

I don't know if there's a misc. bank questions thread (point me there if there is) but is there any bank with a no-fee checking account that you can open 100% online? For someone currently in Israel...

Their home address is in Ohio, if that matters.

Chase is free if you have $1,500 there every day.

And can you open it 100% online and not go into a branch?
