Yes.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

I used my CSP card to book tickets through the chase UR portal but it is only showing me that I got 2x the amount of points as opposed to 5x like they offer. Anyone know why that is or if it will show up later at some point?

Got a 0% APR promo offer on my capital one card for 9 months and figured to max out my $30k CL. Any downside or reasons why I shouldn’t?

to add - i realize "amounts owed" makes up 30% of my credit score, but if i have $200k total credit across my cards (different banks) and carry a $30k (max CL amount) on 1 banks' card for 9 months - how big of a ding will i get?

The impact to your credit score can still be pretty substantial if you have 100% utilization on one card. FICO takes into account both overall utilization across all cards AND utilization for each individual card.

That being said, your score will recover once you pay off the high-utilization card (you'll just need to wait for the new card balance to get reported to the credit bureaus, which normally occurs on your statement closing date, but can vary from bank to bank).

Will it recover completely once I pay off that balance + wait that extra month?
Am in 2P mode so not mind skipping a few months of applying for new cards.

It will take a few months to fully recover with the bulk of it coming in the first month.

I don't recall whether it will be 100% recovery immediately, but when I've been in this situation in the past it's been pretty close to full recovery. And even if it's just 85-90% recovery in the first month, and the remaining 10-15% in month two that's fine (so long as you don't plan to apply for big-dollar loans such as mortgage or car loan during that 1-2 month period).

Received a letter from Chase regarding Chase United Explorer BUSINESS card that they are reducing credit line in half "to better match the way you use your card." I barely use this card, mainly just for United purchases and just for the perks...
Is this a (new) common move by Chase?
What are the effects on credit and on credit report (for business card)? I don't really need the line of credit to be so high... but don't want it to affect credit.
Any input on whether to do anything and if yes what to do? (They do give the option to call to discuss "if you expect you will use the card more often.")

This card does not report so has no effect on your CR.

First time applying for a Capital one card and I see they ask if I'm a dual citizen. Never saw this with Amex or Chase before.

Why are they the only ones that ask this & does answering yes negatively impact my chances?

Does any CC give any kind of insurance on jewelry? Return protection, lost, etc. I was wondering which CC to use for a purchase.

I don't know about CC but you can buy insurance for Jewelry without attaching it to a homeowners/renters policy. Assuming it's worth it.

And it's usually only a couple dollars a month assuming you aren't insuring a crate full of Spanish gold.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.
