Chase will not approve you for a card if you meet any of the terms that would disqualify you for the SUB. Amex will happily give you a card you can't get a SUB on.

Never a good idea to give false information. They don't need DOB to report the card to your reports.
AU won't count when you call.

If it helped it go up my understanding is it will effect it, IINM the main factor is the length of credit history.

It can be a plus or minus on credit history.
You lose the that CL for calculations also.

That's true but I think the bigger reason for most is for the credit history, a CL can be built but one can't go back in time
