Best card to use to book a flight, for coverage in case of any issues? Amex plat or biz plat or Ritz or freedom?

When logging into amex it tells me I'm eligible to add an amex business platinum account, the application only asks for my income.. is there a hard credit pull?

Amex usually only soft pulls for existing cardholders

I know for upgrades that's the case but are you sure for new cards? How can that be they're extending credit..

Can a Citi AA card get product changed to a Thank you card? Or to a double cash card?

I think so (although I dont have any recent personal DP's). Here's a pretty recent reddit thread showing lots of people PC'ing from various cards to custom cash card: https://www.reddit.com/r/CreditCards/comments/omozwa/citi_custom_cash_supposedly_opens_to_product/

I changed one to a double cash card 3 or 4 years ago. Obviously things might have changed since then though.
