From t&c it states "Eligible purchases are purchases for goods and services minus returns and other credits.

so if i spend $15,000 on my biz plat but amex credits me $589 for those purchases, thereby only owing amex $14,411 - will i qualify for the SUB or not?

Amex counts the NET spending.  So returns don't count. Do their reimbursements count?

Any update if marriot certs can be extended now? Have a 35k that I got from Amex marriot Bonvoy, expires In April. Not planning on traveling before then, except for next week. Only issue is the hotel I wanna stay by costs 16500k. So rather use points for that one and save the certificate and extend if needed. Any recent data points if they can now be extended?

I tried applying again with a offer that has lifetime language.
When I get to the last page I am not seeing any pop up.
Is it safe to assume I will receive the bonus?

I don't want to spend 15k just to see. Any data points would be greatly appreciated!

I think with Amex, if you're approved, you'll get the bonus.

that is definitely incorrect. If you receive the pop up you can still get approved for the card and you will not receive the bonus.

My question is when you apply for a new card using an offer that has lifetime language and you don't receive the pop before submitting the application.
Would you still get the bonus?

Has anyone had success using the Chase Ink Business Cash card to pay their personal Federal Taxes? I've tried using all 3 different IRS providers and get an error message saying they do not accept this method of payment. I have tried calling the providers but can't ever reach a live operator.

I've called Chase and they say the card can be used anywhere a Visa is accepted, which doesn't seem to be the case.

If it has lifetime language then even if you get the bonus they may claw it back… there is no way of knowing for sure.

Worth keeping the cards?
Have a united and ihg with $95 annual fee each.
United I used global entry already, didn't sell lounge passes yet, and don't know how many flights I'll fly that I need the free luggage for.
Ihg seems like the free night certificate makes it worthwhile, even if sold. Am I missing something?
