am i risking anything letting my friend use my card to purchase merchandise for his store ?

Risking in terms of what? The answer is that you are risking your "friend" not paying you. Aside from that I am not really sure what you are referring to.

thanx,

I am confused. You needed the forums to tell you to not let someone use your card if you are not certain they'll be able to pay you back?  :o

You asked if you were risking something and then were happy to be provided with the thread about not letting people swipe for you recklessly.

happy to see theres a thread discussing it and ill read that and see if there are any problems with it, it seems the only problem is the friend not paying, which i hope is not a problem in my case, but to be sure ill prob set a limit tthat i can cover if anything goes wrong

+1 on the limit.

Better safe then sorry. Hope you don't end up as a story on that thread.

Don't make a verbal limit agreement with him. Set a limit on the card.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

I disputed with all three the other week. EX seemed the fastest (under a week, iirc),  EQ and TU were a couple of days behind.

Like as in reporting, EX is usually the first, then goes EQ, followed by TU...

Whenever I PIF my Chase card, the balance usually reflects $0 the following day on EX... They are super fast

It all depends on the creditor.
